Hello Friends,
As we rested from our labors this Labor Day weekend we are reminded of a few key principals from the Bible.
Peer pressure and other pressures of life can cause us to want to take the easy way out. Furdy learns a hard lesson during one of the first big trials of his young life. When we turn to God for guidance and comfort then we can see more clearly. It isn't always the easy way, but the right way is always easier in the end. Furdy can see that now.
Mathew 11:28-30 states:
28 “Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads. I will give you rest. 29 Accept my work and learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will find rest for your souls. 30 The work that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is not heavy.” (From the International Children's Bible)
