HAPPY New Year friends,

We welcome in the New Year with joy in our hearts for all of the blessings that GOD has given us as well as our chance for a brand new beginning. We ring in the new year in January, one of the coldest months of the year. Winter can seem dark and gloomy but if we change our perspective, or how we see things, then winter can be beautiful! Just like our Wooly worm saw everything through eyes of doom and gloom, until Hartlie explained to him how we can change our point of view. Here is a little of Hartlie’s conversation helping Wooly understand:

 "Well surely you have something to be thankful for each day, like love and life and friends and smiles and GOD to whom we pray." 

By adding gratitude and thanksgiving, we immediately change our perspective and joy begins to fill our hearts. So as we make our way through January, lets be grateful for the special beauty of winter. Beautiful snow in which to play in, the outlines of the trees and the stillness and calm which helps us rest.
