February is a month in which we celebrate love. Love of our family, our friends and our neighbors. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. John is telling us that the more we love those around us, the closer we get to God Himself. God IS LOVE, so as we unselfishly expand our hearts to those around us and show love, we are growing as Christians and this is pleasing to THE LORD. Take time to smile at someone that is hurting, offer a kind word to someone, even sharing a Bible verse to a friend can uplift their spirits and be a blessing. The LORD will honor this and in return, you will be blessed.
